Sharing and Selling
- How does the new revenue model work? 1.) CreationSwap will offer sellers 100% payout on all for sale items sold (minus transaction fees of 6.65% + $0.40 per transaction). 2.) For any Paid Content downloaded by Premium Subscribers, Content Providers shall receive a share of CreationSwap’s monthly Premium Service subscription revenue (the "Content Provider's Share"), which varies and is dependent on the number Premium Subscriber downloads of the Content Provider's Paid Content. Duplicate downloads of Paid Content, defined as the same piece of Content downloaded by the same Premium Subscriber, will not be calculated in the Content Provider's Share. The Content Provider's Share is calculated as follows: $ Paid Per Item = Subscription revenue weighted by type X Premium content percent payout by type X (Downloads of "for sale" item / Total number of premium downloads of "for sale" content by type). Premium Content Percentage Payouts: 30% Photos/Slides 35% Graphics/Motions/Music 40% Mini Movies
- How do I verify my Paypal account? We require the name on Paypal to match the name on CreationSwap for a few different reasons. First, we need to report payments to the IRS and send all artists a 1099 when they earn above the reportable amount in a tax year. So we must have the correct information to send you a 1099. Also, we pay artists through Paypal to avoid issues with payments being collected or denied at paypal we require that paypal accounts be verified with paypal and we also require that information matches the information we have for that person. Otherwise we end up chasing artists down to try to pay them, which is not always possible. If we owe an artist money we want to pay them in a timely fashion. This is the best win win for all parties and is our policy for artists to sell on Creationswap. Here's how to Verify your PayPal account? Log in to your PayPal account. Click Get Verified on your Account Overview. Select the verification method you want to use. Enter your information, then click Continue. Click Confirm, then click Submit.
